Allen court

Allen court was a new experience for PFP as this was the first job whare PFP performed the role of a main contractor performing a full strip out and fit out of a beautiful historic location within fife. The building had a long and rich history of printing works dating back to 1878 and finally closing its doors in 2007 as the business was no longer sustainable due to the quick advancements in technology at the time.

To bring this building into the twenty first century, the interior was converted into 26 luxury residential properties, each of which are unique in nature. The little alcoves and idiosyncrasies of the building have been kept and incorporated into the new living spaces. The high ceilings and large factory windows have been retained giving the accommodation wonderful ceiling heights and an abundance of natural light.

The building has not only been brought to life inside but has been lovingly and sympathetically restored outside. The original stonework has either been re-pointed or moved from its original location to form new structures on the site. Both inside and out great care has been taken to retain the wonderful character and history of the building.
